I was looking for cookware that was nontoxic and free of PFAS and PFOA to replace my traditional nonstick set. The Carote cookware caught my eye and I kept holding out to get the best deal possible. I really liked the ivory but ended up settling on the black. They are beautiful and lightweight despite the thicker bottom. They heat evenly, perform nicely, and they are easy to clean. They are well-made and will last a long time, as long as you take good care of them and read/follow the instructions and guidelines. It seems like everything I’ve cooked has turned out better and tasted better.

When I received the set, the rim was bent on the lid for the saute pan. I emailed Carote and sent a photo and they immediately sent me a replacement lid. They were super nice, professional, and responded quickly to my request. Overall, I am happy with the product and support I received, and I would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

I have been in deseparate need of new non stick pans for years, but after reading reviews of potential brands I comtemplated purchasing, ultimately deciding to pass on those products. Just before Christmas, a friend told me about these pans that her sister owned and cooked a meal for her where she scorched the food and she witnessed her wipe it right out with a paper towel and the pan was not ruined. She shared the link with me and after reading reviews and for the price, thought these sound promising and budget friendly.

I love to cook, so I was excited to see if these pans live up to their claims. They do!! I have used them multiple times, cooking different meals and all with the same result, none of the food sticks and I can literrally wipe clean with a paper towel (I do wash them. I'm just amazed that they wipe clean with a paper towel). My husband has also had fun cooking with these pans. He loves them as much as I do. I included a picture of scrambled eggs that I made and the pan after putting them on my plate. I didn't have to use non stick spray and haven't for anything I've cooked. These are truly non stick and they are pretty too. I've told everyone I know about these pans and another friend recently purchased after my recommendation.

These pans are gorgeous. I bought them on a whim because I just needed new pans in a hurry.

These pans are great starter pans. However, these aren’t made for people who cook almost every night. If you are a casual cook, that doesn’t have a large family, then these are a good fit for your lifestyle. They are very easy to clean and the nonstick surface stays nonstick.

Following the cleaning and handling instructions, definitely increases the longevity of pans. Regardless of how well you clean them, the pans inevitably get a darker tinge. It doesn’t really affect the outside of the pan completely, just the bottom and the cooking surface. Some of the handles get really hot. Especially the larger pot.

It’s been about a year. They still work, but I’m probably going to be upgrading. I’ve included pictures of what they look like after a year.

Keep in mind, I cook every single night and every morning. They’ve got some battle scars y’all 😉

BTW after a year, they are still none stick.
